Isabel was conceived by her mother in Melbourne Australia. Her mother is Swiss as is her father Australian. Her family has lived in Australia, Switzerland, Melbourne Jabiru (a tiny mining community located in the Northern Territory), Cairns Australia and Jabiru in Switzerland. With her sister Nina, she went to schools where First Nations and other children with different cultural backgrounds were welcomed. Isabel lives in Byron Bay, New South Wales Australia. Isabel was involved in acting since the time she attended school. Then, she studied the art of drama at the Queensland University of Technology at Victoria College of Arts. Her auditions were not for any parts until being discovered via her agents in 2002. She auditioned for a role for the movie Home and Away 1998. Isabel completed her role in Sons of Summer and is in pre-production for the role as Marie Curie in Radiant with an award-winning scriptwriter and director Annika Glac. Isabel is a keen advocate of animal rights, and has collaborated with numerous environmental organizations. Since 2010, she's the PatronAmbassador of Melbourne's Human Rights and Arts Film Festival. Isabel, who is well-known for her environmental efforts and commitment to the cause of social justice and ethical values, was the face of and brand ambassador for several cosmetics and fashion campaigns.
