Christina Applegate

  Christina Applegate, born November 25 1971, is an American actress. As a child actor, she was recognized for playing the role of Kelly Bundy in Fox's sitcom Married... with Children (1987-1997). Applegate was able to establish a successful television and film career in her adult years, winning the Primetime Emmy Award from seven nominations and also receiving nominations for four Golden Globe Awards and a Tony Award.



 



 Applegate starred in the title role on Jesse, the NBC sitcom Jesse (1998-2000), which resulted in an Golden Globe Award nomination. For her performance as guest on the NBC sitcom Friends the show, she won a Primetime Emmy Award. In the Broadway revival of Sweet Charity (2005), she received a nomination for the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical. Samantha Who?, an ABC sitcom, was her next role. She appeared on ABC's sitcom Samantha Who? (2007-2009), where she was nominated for two Primetime Emmy Award (2011-2012) and she received a Golden Globe Award nomination.
